What is SOCFortress Signals?+
Signals is a threat intelligence and security advisory platform. It brings information from multiple sources together, connects related records and helps teams understand what deserves attention. Tier 2 adds relevance based on your organization’s declared technology profile.
Is any global intelligence reserved for paid plans?+
No. Free accounts can access all global intelligence available in the platform. Paid tiers add reporting, technology-specific relevance and notifications, rather than unlocking additional global data.
How does Signals decide what is relevant?+
Tier 2 matches advisory evidence against selected vendors, products and versions where available. Urgency also considers exploitation evidence and known exploited status. Broad category selections feed digests rather than urgent alerts. Each match explains its reasoning; unknown exposure does not mean unaffected.
Does Signals scan or patch my systems?+
No. Signals informs your decisions using external intelligence and your declared technology profile. It does not deploy endpoint agents, scan your infrastructure, automatically patch systems or replace your SIEM or vulnerability management tools.
What is the difference between reports and alerts?+
Tier 1 delivers scheduled, broadly curated PDF reports. Tier 2 adds technology-matched alerts, near-real-time email notifications, weekly digests and customer-relevant report sections. Delivery depends on matching evidence and your notification preferences.
